Bellerose Bulldogs Football

On a beautiful fall evening the Bulldogs were victorious and captured the regular season crown in the Metro Athletics Miles Conference.  Finishing with a 6 - 1 record they will now face the only team to beat them this season in the conference semi-finals next Friday in St. Albert.

After a slow start and giving up 9 points in the opening quarter the Bulldogs shut out Sturgeon the rest of the way while scoring 14 points in the second half to assure victory.

Led by Owen Tebbutt's 2 interceptions along with an interception by Caleb Holmes, the Bulldogs defence dominated the second half.  Offensively the Bulldogs picked it up in the 2nd half with touchdowns coming from Tyler Sims rushing, and Darius Crandell with his league leading 12th receiving TD.

St. Francis Xavier lost their final game of the year to Strathcona to finish in 4th place setting up the semi-final against the Bulldogs on Friday, October 27th at Larry Olexiuk Field, kickoff at 6 pm.
